4 daily files, from 18 October 2026 to 21 October 2026.

October 2026

Each file has a fixed address, so a script can fetch any day: https://uk-cinema-api.co.uk/api/archive/showtimes/YYYY-MM-DD.csv.gz. A day with no file returns 404.

What's in a file

Each file is a gzipped CSV of the showings that started on one day, UK time. It's written the morning after that day, usually appearing here by 06:30, and never changes afterwards.

Each row is one film at one showing. A double bill or other multi-film screening has a row for each film, sharing a showtime_id and numbered by billing_position.

film_id and cinema_id are the IDs the API uses, and films carry their TMDB and IMDb IDs where we have them.

It covers the cinemas we collect listings from and the films we publish through the API, so it isn't every showing in the UK and Ireland. Showings are left out if they were withdrawn before they started, or if the API had stopped serving them by then, which usually means they were last seen in the cinema's listings more than 48 hours before their start.

Reading the values

  • Times are ISO 8601 in UK time with their offset, such as 2026-11-01T19:30:00+00:00, or +01:00 in summer. showing_at is the advertised start.
  • price_from is the lowest price among adult, child, teen, senior, student and concession tickets. Member, family and similar tickets don't count. Where a cinema publishes only a "from" price, it's that.
  • Prices are decimals in the currency given (GBP or EUR), such as 11.50, where the API gives whole pence or cents (1150). Some cinemas include a booking fee and some don't, so compare prices across cinemas with care.
  • price_from and sold_out are as of last_seen_at, and are blank where the cinema doesn't publish them.
  • screening_language and subtitle_language are three-letter ISO 639-3 codes. film_original_language is TMDB's two-letter ISO 639-1 code.
  • country is GB or IE. attribute_codes is space-separated, such as imax 3d audio-described.
